The name is the menu and the menu is the promise. Shish kabob with a proper char, shawarma shaved to order, wraps built for two hands. It is not fancy and it has never tried to be. Richardson regulars know: when the craving hits, this is the room.

No. 2 · Kasra – Richardson
Persian comfort, Richardson edition. The koobideh arrives juicy and saffron-perfumed, the rice is the kind you think about later, and the room hums with families who have been coming for years. Quietly one of the most consistent Persian kitchens in the metroplex.

No. 3 · Dimassi’s – Richardson
The all-you-can-eat Middle Eastern spread that ruins buffets for you everywhere else. Hot mezze, grilled meats, salads that actually get refilled, all of it halal and all of it moving fast. Bring the group chat. Leave nothing on the table.

A DFW institution hiding in plain sight. Afrah does the classics the way they are supposed to be done: shawarma with crunch at the edges, kabobs with real smoke, portions that assume you brought friends. Over a thousand reviews cannot be wrong.
